I baked!  I’m not much of a baker but I must admit, I enjoyed making this tahini banana bread.  I love tahini on everything!  If you aren’t familiar with tahini it’s like peanut butter but instead of ground up peanuts, it’s ground up sesame seeds.

  • Bread loaf plan
  • Almond flour
  • Spices
  • Baking Powder and Soda
  • Cinnamon
  • Tahini
  • Bananas
  • Eggs
  • Honey
  • Vanilla

 How to Make this Tahini Banana Bread

Let me start by saying, I’m not a baker.  I don’t enjoy it at all.  But, I received a request to put more sweet treats on the blog so I had to get my over dislike of baking.  This banana bread really wasn’t that hard to make and it wasn’t too messy either.

First, mix all the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, banking powder, cinnamon and salt).  In a separate bowl mix the wet ingredients (bananas, eggs, tahini, honey, vanilla, sesame oil). Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix well.  Pour into a bread loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.  Remove from oven and cool.  Cut into thick slices and top with a grass-fed butter.  Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 T honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Optional

  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
