I’ve been listening to a lot of podcasts lately.  I don’t watch the news in the mornings anymore because  I got tired of waking up and starting my day with negativity.  So, I started listening to podcasts while I get ready in the mornings.

I wanted to share a few of my favorite podcasts with you guys and why I love them so much.  You can find them all on iTunes and/or Spotify.

  1. Rebel Heart Radio – A great resource for nutrition and skincare.  Cassie, a nutritionist and Genny, a makeup artist/esthetician have been teaching me and keeping me entertained for over a year now.  My favorite episodes are Sustainable Living, Healing Dry Skin from Within, Summer Skincare, Non-Toxic Living at Home and so many more!  I feel like I should have a notebook and pen when I listen because they share so much amazing advice.  Thankfully they have done the note-taking for me and given me links to everything they discussed in their podcasts notes on their website.
  2. How to Start a Badass Business – Are you an entrepreneur or thinking of becoming one?  Diane Sanfilippo gives real life advice that you can put into action when starting a business.  She really is a badass herself!!  I had the pleasure of meeting her at book signing here in Charlotte.
  3. Balanced Bites – This podcast just ended but there are 400 episodes of detailed information about living a paleo lifestyle, beauty, skincare, healthy mindset and so much more!  Diane Sanfilippo and Liz Wolfe have taught me so much!!
  4. Skimm’d From the Couch – Like I said earlier, I don’t watch the news any more.  The only way I get the news is from The Skimm.  It’s a daily email with all the world’s news that you need to know.  Sign up by clicking HERE.  The two ladies that created The Skimm also do this podcast and they interview talented and successful women and discuss the ups and downs of their careers.  How did they celebrate wins and how did they keep it together during the lows.  Lots of inspiring stories in here!!
  5. The Dave Ramsey Show – I got myself out of debt by following the steps from The Total Money Makeover.  Dave Ramsey is very direct but can be compassionate and understanding as well.  He changed my life and I’m forever grateful!!
  6. Armchair Expert – Dax Shepard is the simply the best!  His interviewing skills are amazing.  He gets the real real from his guests.  Go listen to him, you won’t be disappointed!
  7. How Was Your Weekend? – My BFF of many years has a podcast which I think is so cool!  She used to come into work and chat with a co-worker on Mondays about what they did over the weekend.  Those conversations turned into a podcast.  They chat about all kinds of things!  Go check out Brian and Wendy.  I bet you’ll love them!

Podcasts are a wonderful way of getting access to great information from experts for free, having amazing storytellers keep you entertained while driving or just learning something new.  No matter what you are interested in, there is a podcast about it!
